AWHS Class of 1976 Alumni Get Together

Several members of the Andrew Warde High School Class of 1976 got together recently to celebrate the release of Floyd Scholz' new book, Golden Eagle. Floyd appeared at a weekend event at the Connecticut Audubon Society on Burr Street in Fairfield.

The show and sale, which took place May 4, 5, and 6, featured a behind-the-scenes look at the art of bird carving. Floyd was joined by 20 other bird carvers from around North America to present a collection of some of the finest bird carvings and bird art to be seen anywhere.

Above, classmates Scott Patterson, Floyd Scholz, Nina Bonacci-Walsh, Tony Procaccini, and Kim Nagy gathered at the Bear and Grill Restaurant on Black Rock Turnpike to reminisce and share an evening of fellowship.
