The Internet, specifically social networking sites, has made it relatively easy to stay in touch with and find long-lost friends. It's not just the younger generation monopolizing Facebook these days. In fact, several classes from Andrew Warde High School have developed Facebook pages for classmates to stay in touch.I'm sure most if not all of you who attended Warde in the late 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s couldn't have possibly imagined or envisioned the technology which is available to us today. We can contact friends around-the-globe in an instant. I still can't believe how easy it is, even for those of us in our 50s and 60s.

Although I'm not a big fan of Facebook, it can be a useful and productive resource if used professionally or educationally. It has become a valuable marketing tool for businesses, too.
Facebook offers users the opportunity to share photos, videos, send instant messages to friends, and even chat. It is the most popular social networking site on the World Wide Web.
