Andrew Warde High School Alumni Invited to Mark 70th Anniversary of the Woodshop Program

Fairfield Warde High School will host its 30th annual Wood Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in the school's cafeteria, according to organizers. The public is invited, and admission is free.

The event will mark the 70th anniversary of the school's woodshop program and will feature current student projects entered in a judged competition. Additionally, the show will have a silent auction of handcrafted items such as a cornhole set, dining table, decorative pens, and a bench, with proceeds supporting the school’s woodshop program.

School alumni are also invited to submit past work for judging as part of the anniversary celebration, with entries due by June 5, 2026.

Please contact Luke Allen at LALLEN2@fairfieldschools.org for more information. Fairfield Warde's woodshop program, one of the largest furniture making programs in southern New England, provides students with hands-on, real-world skills while fostering creativity and craftsmanship.
